How Attorneys Are Selected by Super Lawyers
A Super Lawyer honoree is nominated by another attorney as a result of third-party feedback, peer nomination, or identification by the Super Lawyers research team. Every nominated attorney is then evaluated on 12 indicators of professional achievement, which are not weighed equally but are all a part of the final point total.
The 12 areas of Super Lawyer evaluation include:
- Verdicts and settlments
- Previous awards
- Special licenses or certificates
- Professional activity
- Community service
- Scholarly writings and lectures
- Other outstanding achievements
The nominees with high point totals are then evaluated by the Blue Ribbon Panel, which is made of the highest-scoring attorneys from every practice area. Once the Blue Ribbon Panel has made their final choices, the number of honorees is limited to 5% of the total attorneys practicing in a given state or region.
To be selected to this list for over a decade is a massive accomplishment. We’re proud of all that Attorney Lloyd Bennett has accomplished, and we look forward to what more he’ll accomplish for his clients in the years to come.
