9th Circuit Court Halts Travel Ban
On 2/10/17 the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals denied the Federal Government's
emergency motion to stay the temporary restraining order, handing President
Trump a significant defeat in favor of the rule of law. The Court rejected
the government's main point that the President's Executive Orders
were not re-viewable by the courts and halted the travel ban nationwide.
Despite this victory, the President tweeted "See you in Court"
implying that his administration will take the matter to the Supreme Court.
