Appellate Court Hears Arguments regarding DACA

Last week, the appellate court heard oral arguments regarding the future of DACA. The following are three main takeaways you should keep in mind in regards to DACA.

1. Only oral arguments were heard by the court. A decision on DACA is expected to come out in the following weeks or even months.
2. You can still renew your DACA application. Renewals are still being processed, however new applications are not currently being accepted. 
3. This decision may take DACA away altogether. If you have any kind of relief through family members or through a green card eligibility category you should get in touch with an attorney before you lose status.
