Alexander Mena, Esq., is a recent graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. Throughout his time in law school, Alex advocated for immigrants through his work at a well-known non-profit organization. In his role, Alex specifically worked on adjustment of status applications before the USCIS, removal defenses, among other immigration petitions.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex began his legal career in family court, where he represented survivors of domestic violence. After his time in family court, Alex transitioned into helping clients secure humanitarian relief. During his time in this role, he worked to secure release on bond, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for unaccompanied minors, and protection under the United Nations Convention Against Torture.
Alex’s commitment to immigration law and public service is not just a professional one; it is a personal one too. As a member of an immigrant family, advocacy frames his approach to work.
