Lloyd Bennett is the principal owner and founder of Lloyd E. Bennett, Esq., P.C. which has been located in Hudson County, N.J. since inception in 1987. He has been practicing law in New Jersey since 1987. He has always represented clients injured in accidents and never represents the insurance companies. He also represents families and businesses in a variety of immigration matters and appears before all immigration services in the NJ & NY area.
Lloyd is actively involved with the New Jersey Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and served as its Chapter-Chair in 2012. Currently Lloyd is the co-chair of the ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement) Committee which meets with ICE representatives several times a year to discuss issues of concern to the community..
For the past several years he has taken the fight for comprehensive immigration reform to Washington, D.C. where he lobbied for change on behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association with the Representatives from New Jersey.
Lloyd was recognized by his peers and included in the list of Super Lawyers from 2008-2013.
Lloyd is a 1987 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J. He also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College in 1984. He is the third generation of attorney practicing law in New Jersey. His grandfather and father were well respected attorneys in the community they served.
